Teen Read Week 2015

We have some fun activities planned for next week.

  • Green Screen Photo Opportunity any day during lunch - show everyone the best place to "get away."
  • Trick or Treat with books! Come select a Horror, Suspense, or Thriller from our library display. Read one of the books and complete a review letting us know if it is a "trick" or "treat."
  • Drop by to VOTE in the Teens Top Ten annual election--teens only! (Read about the titles here. Checkout the Dorman display of these books.)
  • Try your hand at naming books based on Twitter handles, Twitter avatars, Tweets, and hashtags. One lucky student will win a Regal Cinema gift card. (Guidelines for participation and the Tweets are below.)
  • Thursday morning breakfast drop-in for Library book club members!

Preview our Trick or Treat Book Display:

Some of the books are strategically covered, asking you to take a chance on an unknown book! Here is the list of those books!

Try your hand at Guessing the titles represented in our "If YA Book Characters Used Twitter" Challenge.

  • Pick up an entry form in the library - or do it online.
  • All entries due by Thursday, October 22 at the end of third block!
  • Feel free to collaborate, research, and work together to discover the title of each popular YA Book. Each student must have their own entry form.
  • Students who accurately identify all the titles or series will be allowed to choose a free book.
  • One name will be drawn from the entries with all titles accurately identified for a Regal Cinema
    Movie Pass.
  • See the "tweets" pictured below.
