National Library Week and our "Spring Break Special"

National Library Week is April 14-20.  As always, the library will be having lots of activities for students and teachers (more on that later).  Unfortunately, NLW always falls during HSAP!  But, we will hold our own NLW for two weeks to make sure the library is open for all students and teachers to participate.

This year, Mr. Kiser has approved the library’s “Spring Break Special,” but it is different than in previous years (and yes, it is after Spring Break—but whatever!! J).  We are asking for donations of canned food items/non-perishables in lieu of students paying their library fines.  These items will be donated to  TOTAL Ministries of Spartanburg,  a local food bank which provides for those in crisis.

Stop by the library to check your account, or look for the flyers in your teachers’ rooms or in the hallway.  This special will run for 2 weeks starting on Monday, April 15.  The last day to have your fines waived is Friday, April 26.  Remember, it does not apply to DFC fines or fines for lost or damaged books.
